Filming
Edit
Beforehand YouTuber Jared Clark had the idea of silently walking around a park and finally approaching a person afterword. The idea was first used when Jared was invited over to his friend and fellow YouTuber Alex Clip (creator of the clipimac6 account). The two had planned beforehand about making a video at his house. Finally the two started filming a video in the backyard of them making weird faces. The video was abandoned and they started to film Jared's idea. In the middle of filming Alex got bored and though the video was taking too long. He ran up to the camera and started to make weird noises, therefore the video was not uploaded to Alex's account. The video was also interrupted when Alex and Jared's mom came outside and started to talk in the middle of filming. Most notably Alex's mom interrupted by saying, "Hey freaky childen!". On December 6, 2009, Jared Clark and his friend Gage Meyer approached Josh Clark (Jared's brother) and asked if they could make a sequel to The Phattest Crib This Hood Has. In response Josh said that that would totally kill it, Gage and Jared agreed and went on to make another video. Instead they went out in the front yard and started to film A Walk in the Park (name not yet created then). The video was filmed by Jared Clark who told Gage to wait inside a trash can that they tipped over. Jared then started to take the film on Gage's Flip Video. The video was filmed in the same concept as he did with Alex and this time the video was a filming success.
Uploading
Edit
The video was uploaded on the same day as it was filmed. Before the video, Gage did not know how to upload a video and at the same time Josh wanted to upload it to his account, Admiral Tobias. Gage and Jared hooked up the Flip Video to Jared's computer and started save it as a file. The file was saved two times in a folder they named "The Awesomeness Folder". The first file was named "Dec 06 2009 - VID00038" and the second being named "Dec 06 2009 - VID00038_1". Gabe and Jared had trouble uploading it and Jared eventually asked his dad, Dean Clark, to come over and help. Dean found both the files and selected one of them. "Dec 06 2009 - VID00038_1" then started to upload. Due to the video's excessive length loading progressed very slowly. When Jared left his computer after watching it load, he accidentally closed it which he does naturally. This caused the loading of the video, which was near half way, to stop. To Jared's frustration he opened it back up and started to load it again. This time the file "Dec 06 2009 - VID00038" started to upload. In the meantime, Jared, Gage, Josh, and Dean went to go get pizza at Vincenzo's Pizza. Before they left Jared left a sticky note at the top of his computer stating "Do not close!!!!!!!". After they went to get pizza Gage was immediately brought back to his house. Before Gage left he told Jared to call him if it was uploaded. When Jared got home the video was finally uploaded however he noticed that Gage wrote annotations on the video, indicating that Gage had already seen it.
Embeddings
Edit
The video has only been embedded twice. The first time was on December 7, 2009 on this very page by Jared under The Moggie account. The video was embedded for the second time on Jared Clark's personal Facebook account on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 9:53 PM. On the link, Jared pretended that the video was actually a lost Ken Burns documentary. In the description of the post Jared wrote "Wow this is soooo cool. This is a lost Ken Burns documentary I just found." The video has also been "liked" by Jared and his mother Laura Hansen Clark.

{[Annotation 1[1]] In first person view, Jared starts out looking directly into the corner of his garage. Jared goes around and starts to walk next to his garage. He walks around the corner of his house and starts to walk down his lawn toward a tree located next to gate dividing the front from his back yard. Jared walks around the tree and starts to make the camera "hop" across the ledge of his window, he then looks up the front of his house and then looks back down and starts hopping again. Jared then takes a look inside a nearby bush. He then comes out of the bush and walks around another bush [Annotation 2[2]], leading back onto his lawn. He walks around the outer rim of his lawn and focusing on different bushes. Jared then rushes to the ground and starts to focus on a wooden bear holding a sign stating "Welcome" which he starts to swirl around. Jared then looks back up and focuses on the doorway of his house. He steps onto the walkway leading to his front door and starts to walk down it, taking a look at some rose bushes planted to his left. He walks along and then looks down to the ground and focuses on a the head of a hose. Jared goes over the hose and peeks into the hose wheel. Jared goes out of the hose holder and walks back around his garage. He goes around to the other side of his house, by the trash cans and bags of weeds and rubble. He walks past the trash cans and bags and then walks up to a gate leading to his backyard. While approaching the gate, Jared rocks the camera side to side. Jared, now at the gate, looks at the top and then focuses on the wall next to the gate. Jared then looks over the gate and then walks back past the bags and starts to look in the trash cans. Jared then opens the third trash can revealing Gage inside.}

{Jared runs back around the garage as the video ends}

Notes
Edit
- When Jared went over by the tipped over trash can for the first time. Gage assumed that he was supposed to come out so he opened the lid. Luckily Jared was facing away from the trash can when he did it. Jared then motioned him to close the lid. The closing of the lid can be heard faintly at 8:47 in the video.
- The only times when Jared is mainly at the end where you can see a shadow of him on the garage door, by the door to his backyard where you can see the tips of his feet, and when he opens the trash can where you can view his hand briefly.
