(The scene opens, with the Annoying Orange and Pear looking up at the night sky. A banjo is playing in the background.)

PEAR: Wow! Look at that sky! It is beautiful! Hey! Check it out, Orange! There's cassiopeia!

THE ANNOYING ORANGE: (as Pear was about to say something) Hey! Hey Onion!

PEAR: What? No, no. It's-- it's named--

THE ANNOYING ORANGE: Look, Pear! It's Onion!

(The scene cuts to a full moon in the sky.)

THE ANNOYING ORANGE: Hey! Hey Onion! Hey!

PEAR: Dude, that's not an onion.

THE ANNOYING ORANGE: Wow! Onion's the biggest star that I've ever seen!

PEAR: Dude, it's not an onion! It's-- i--

(The scene cuts to a shining star in the sky.)

PEAR: What the--

(Dramatic music begins to play.)

THE ANNOYING ORANGE: Whoa! What's that one called?

(The shining star gets bigger and moves to the left.)

PEAR: Wait a second. Orange, that's not a star.

(The light shows on Orange.)

THE ANNOYING ORANGE: Ooh! A light show!

(A spaceship comes down.)

PEAR: Oh, my god!

(The light brings both Orange and Pear up, and they start screaming.)

THE ANNOYING ORANGE AND PEAR: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

(The scene then cuts to the title card that reads, "Annoying Orange: Close Encounters of the Annoying Kind", with Orange and Pear screaming and looking up at the spaceship. The regular theme song starts to play.)
