Brycero, formerly known as Blake1Studios, is an American YouTuber who uploads family-appropriate gaming videos and occasionally reacts to videos made by his subscribers. Bryce created his channel on February 4th, 2015, but did not upload his first video until May 23rd, 2015. He did not begin uploading on his channel regularly until October of 2015, and he did not reach 100 subscribers until July 20th, 2016. Brycero officially reached the achievement of 1,000 subscribers on February 1st, 2017.

About[]

Brycero typically makes videos by himself, and has almost never appeared with others in videos outside his channel. The only exceptions to this are a few short films, which both featured different friends of his.[1] He has also made videos and livestreamed with his cousin. He has previously stated that his favorite video game is Minecraft, but he now regularly uploads VALORANT videos.

Not much is known about Bryce, because he does not reveal any personal information about him on his channel or any of his social media. Bryce is now 22 years old, and originally started uploading on his channel at the age of 15. Bryce refuses to answer any personal questions asked in his comments section, so information is scarce and not publicly known.

Bryce produces all of his videos and livestreams[2] by himself, with occasional help from friends and his cousin. Bryce's cousin has not been seen in his videos or livestreams in a few years, not much is known about him.

History[]

When Bryce first joined YouTube, he tried naming himself "Blake1," his original online username, however the username was taken at the time, so he instead named the channel "Blake1Studios." When he later moved from Blockland to Minecraft, he discovered that the username "Blake1" was taken, so then he went by the username "Blake1Studios." This username stuck through the peak of his channel's popularity. Sometime in late 2019, around the launch of the Lets Talk Tech podcast[3] that he uploaded on his channel for a brief period, Bryce began transitioning his YouTube channel to his current "Brycero" username. The new username now closely reflects his birthname, Bryce, instead of an online alias. Bryce has also been seen sometimes as "BryceroTV".

Bryce began uploading videos regularly under the Blake1Studios channel name at the start of 2016. He reached 100 subscribers in July of 2016, and shortly after improved his recording quality drastically. The channel slowly crawled to 200 subscribers on September 29th, 2016, and then shortly after his channel began surging with popularity over a short period. The next year, on February 1st, 2017, the Blake1Studios YouTube channel reached 1,000 subscribers. He currently sits at 1,300 subscribers, after stalling out in late 2017, and no longer regularly uploads content. Bryce has in recent years primarily focused on livestreams but hints at future video projects in the future.

During his time as a Minecraft YouTuber, Bryce hosted a Minecraft server that he called BlakeCraft.[4] He started hosting the BlakeCraft server in November of 2015, which is around the time he started doing YouTube. The server was never been professionally hosted, and was constantly been opened then subsequently shut down over several iterations. Bryce hosted another Minecraft server called Beta.MC June 2022. Sadly, this was shut down early April 2023.[5] Bryce hints the return of Skyblock for 2024. It is unclear at this time if this is part of another server or another video series.

Community[]

Bryce occasionally made videos where he reacted to videos made by his subscribers. He called the series "Reacting To Your Videos" and has made 4 episodes of it. Some people believed that this was a "shoutout" series, however Bryce refused to call it a shoutout series.[6] While his channel was active, Bryce was very responsive to his audience and was known to respond to as many comments as possible.[7] Although Bryce's YouTube channel is no longer as active as it used to be, he still occasionally livestreams on Twitch, and manages a Discord server called the Brycero Discord, which hosts game nights and community events.[8]
