Cordero James Brady (born March 29, 1989) known as CJ SO COOL is an American YouTuber. He used to upload reactions to popular viral videos, try not to laughs, prank videos, and other videos, occasionally with his brother, Jinx, and his girlfriend, Royalty. In February, CJ claimed his channel was hacked and stated in his response video that he will now focus skit and vlog videos. He also alluded to making future reaction videos.
Personal Life
He was born in Gary, Indiana. He previously worked as a casino craps, blackjack, and poker dealer. He is also US Navy Veteran. His girlfriend Charlene Young (Royalty) has three children by another man. Cordero has one child named Camari.
Controversy
Reaction Videos
In 2015, CJ was hit with a lot of criticism from other YouTubers for stealing the videos he was reacting to; however, he received much less criticism than his brother, Jinx.
Pewdiepie, iDubbbzTV, I HATE EVERYTHING, GradeAUnderA, and JacksFilms criticized CJ, while focusing on Jinx.
The only exception was LeafyIsHere, who focused his critic (Worst Channels on YouTube) almost entirely on CJ with little criticism of Jinx.
Laxative Prank
On May 18 2016, CJ SO COOL uploaded a video where he went to a local drug store, bought Laxative, put it into his children's food, filmed them in pain, and then proceeded to laugh at them while they painfully used the restroom. This received much criticism from Scarce, DramaAlert, Pyrocynical, and BlastphamousHD TV for child abuse and poisoning.
Hack
On February 20, 2016, CJ announced on his twitter that his YouTube channel was hacked. He later wrote on his channel description "My Page Was Hacked And They Deleted Everything Now I Must Start From The Bottom Again". He stated in his hack response video (I Know That My Account Is Still Hacked) that this was not the first time he was hacked, stating that his "bank account" was also hacked.
This so-called hack deleted all of CJ's 1,033 videos. Following the hack, CJ re-uploaded three videos in addition to his three hack response videos.
A week later YouTube re-uploaded 700 out of his 1,033 videos deleted and CJ proceeded into uploading videos, but a different set of them however.
