Console Wars is an American YouTube channel originally hosted by Dan Bulich and Greg Gatarez, the latter of whom was later replaced with Pat Brennan. The videos on the channel often revolve around the two comparing video games on Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, Nintendo Entertainment System and Sega Master System. As their channel trailer description reads, "Two rivals compare games for Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis and determine which console had the better game."
Greg and Dan also have a podcast together called Retro Vs Remake where they discuss the differences between movie remakes and their original predecessors. The podcast is hosted on their Console Wars channel as well as their Retro Vs Remake channel.
On September 9, 2018, Dan uploaded a video explaining that Greg would be taking a break from Console Wars and Retro VS Remake.[1] However Dan later explained in a video uploaded on January 4, 2019, that Greg would be leaving Console Wars permanently, with Pat Brennan taking his place.[2] Reggie Parker would replace Greg for the Retro VS Remake podcast.
