Mark Simpson Wedge (born: May 5, 1990), better known online as Mark SW (formerly Dalek Sram), is a British YouTuber who is into film-making, animation and photography. He was born in Leicestershire and has autistic spectrum disorder.
YouTube Life[]
Mark originally joined YouTube in 2007 with a different account, MsimpsonW, but he had to close it down due to a hacking attempt. He likes to upload videos about things that interest him or that he is a fan of. His videos vary from toy reviews to animated films and he even makes videos about conventions and events he has attended, such as the first VidCon event in Europe and the conventions that have been held at the National Space Centre in Leicester.

Autism[]
In 1995 Mark was diagnosed with autism, which means that he lacks basic communication and social skills. He also suffers from dyslexia, meaning he can't read or write as fluently as other people can. When Mark left school he spent two years studying Multimedia at Leicester College and then three years studying Video and Animation Production at De Montfort University, earning him a BSc (Bachelor of Science).
Although Mark hasn't been able to get a job he is an ambassador for the National Autistic Society, which means he helps to spread autism awareness in the hope that people will understand him and other people with autism. For Autism Awareness Month 2019 he created a viral challenge called 'Poster of Me'. Although the challenge didn't go viral, some people did take part in it.
Defenders[]
In 2023, Mark created his most ambitious YouTube project called the Defenders. The project involves creating a series of videos where he tries to stop an evil organisation from taking over the world. The idea came to him after watching American YouTubers like Rebecca Zamolo, Chad Wild Clay, Carlaylee and The Skorys fighting evil mythical creatures and fictional terrorist organisations. These videos would include things that don’t exist in the real world, such as magic and advanced technology.
Mark wanted to do something similar and give some of the videos a Gerry Anderson vibe, where they would involve futuristic vehicles, heroic rescues and explosions. The villains he would be going up against were an organisation called the SKULL Hackers and the leader would be an android known only as General Skull. Originally, he was going to do the project in 2021, but had to postpone it due to the pandemic.

- Mark's greatest hero is the late Gerry Anderson, the man who created many science fiction TV shows such as 'Thunderbirds', 'Captain Scarlet' and 'Terrahawks'.
