Transcript

Title comes up reading, "Dreams by Oscar Chadwick-Pask and Nicholas Schade".

A boy is sitting in a chair, he says that today is Halloween and that he loves Halloween because of all the lollies and the scary things. He then states that its not really scary and nothing scary generally happens on Halloween. He claims Halloween's just a normal day, nothing more scary happens on Halloween than any other day. His example being that "if some giant whale were to come on Thurscay, then on Friday, which, let's say Friday was Halloween, Oh, my God, what is that!"

On the opposite side of the room is a small doll in the shape of a tree with eyes, a nose, a mouth, owls ontop and a Trick-or-Treat basket. The tree's eyes flash and it makes a 'doodededoo' sound, before sitting still for a few seconds.

The boy, later identified as the Main Character screams and the tree jumps on his neck. He looks at the camera and smiles before screaming as it sucks his blood.

Another boy, later identified as the Dream Man, appears, holding a purple lightsaber, crying "I'll save you!" He hits the tree and it falls down, before he stabs it.

The tree is still and the Dream Man can be heard saying, "Should I do araroorar?"

The Main Character asks if its dead and the Dream Man, now having an American accent, replies "It's hard to tell."

The tree begins to flash green as dramatic music plays. It then stands and laughs a wicked laugh. The Main Character screams and runs, the tree following him. The Dream Man says, "This looks like a job for.." He jumps down and flicks out his lightsaber, saying, "ME!"

The Main Character and the tree run into a door, followed by the Dream Man. He rusn out of another door, followed by the tree. The Dream Man walks out and begins running, before stopping and waving his hands and following the Main Character and the tree through anotheer door. The boy who would be later identified as the Kid Who Gets in the Way gets in the Dream Man's way as he chases the Main Character through another door, kicking the tree in. They now stand in a bathroom and the Dream Man hits the tree, before yelling "Die!" and stabbing it. The Main Character thanks the Dream Man, who has dissappeared and leaves him scared.

The Main Character is in his bed, having a nightmare. He wakes up and says, "It was all a dream." He hears a bumping sound and General Grievous from Star Wars comes in, muttering "Prepare to die, Jedi slime!" The Main Character replies, "Not today, Seperatist.." He picks up the lightsaber. "Prepare to feel the wroth of ME!" The two break out in lightsaber battle, before the Main Character (actually Obi-Wan Kenobi) shoots Greivous and mutters "So uncivilised".

The Main Character returns to his room, saying "Oh, some fight." The Dream Man appears and says "I did warn you," before dissappearing.

The Main Character awakes from a nightmare, saying, "It was all a dream." He then realises he has been tied up to a chair. The Dream Man, now having transformed into the mental equivalent of Golum, is holding a figurine of C3PO, which he refers to as "the golden preciouss". The Main Character is worried and states that the Dream Man would want a rare collector's chair for him to sit on. The Dream Man wants it, but the Main Character eats it, killing the Dream Man, who dissintegrates into nothingness. The Main Character is still stuck.

The Dream Man reappears, now a croaky-voiced, chain-smoking, leather-jacketed, sunglassed bikey who offers his assistance, yet only at a prcie. The Main Character is weary, but the Dream Man threatens to burns his eye, so he accepts. He says he will pay the Dream Man if he gets him out of the chair, whilst the Kid yells "Oscar! I'm trying to get to sleep!" The Dream Man cuts through the string and disappears. The Main Character feels something sticky under his shirt, he looks at his hand, covered in blood and realises the Dream Man has cut through his belly.

• The Main Character is played by Oscar, who also provided the voice of General Grievous and the tree.
• The Dream Man was played by Nick
• The Kid Who Gets in the Way was played by Archer
• It is filmed by Oscar, Nick and Shirley-Mae
• The beggining is reminiscent of that of Brain.
• The tree was an American Halloween toy and was intended to sing, but the batteries ran out
• The shaking effect was done by shaking the camera
• The lightsaber was a Mattel toy
• The scary musice was sung by Nick
• The green flashes were achieved by Nightshot
• The tree stood by attaching string to its nose and pulling
• The tree followed the Main Character by attaching it by string to his leg
• Nick can be heard saying "Action!"
• The camera can be seen in the mirror

• The chair eating scene was filmed in two shots, one where the chair went inside the Main Character's mouth and another where he is eating a Tick Tock

• the disappearance scenes were achieved by the character being filmed in the place in one shot and just the place in the next
• When the Dream Man tries to burn the Main Character, he holds his cigarette backwards
• One shot went for longer than anticipated because the camera 'stopped working'
• The 'blood' was red pen
