Jack and Dean are an English comedy duo comprised of Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs.

YouTube Channel[]

Jack and Dean first began uploading sketches in 2008 after meeting at secondary school some years prior. Their channel is comprised mostly of short skits. Their most viewed video is Superglued, which currently has over 3.2 million views.

At the end of each year they release a yearly review video entitled The Good, The Bad & The Just Plain Sh!t Parts of (insert year here). Their 2014 skit, The Last Supper, was released in support of Comic Relief.

In 2015, Jack and Dean released a short film through Ron Howard's company New Form Digital. The film also served as a pilot for a proposed series.

Outside YouTube[]

In recent years, Dobbs and Howard have ventured outside YouTube. In 2014, they performed live at both Reading and Leeds festivals. Since 2012, they have performed their comedy act at the British YouTube convention Summer in the City.

In 2014, they began collaborating with BBC Radio 1. Currently, they have produced two iPlayer shows for the BBC, Clickbait and the Official Chart Bite. Together with Dan and Phil, they hosted the Internet Takeover of Radio 1's Big Weekend.

Jack and Dean of All Trades[]

Jack and Dean of All Trades, often shortened to JADOAT, is a television series following two friends who resign from the bank and become temps, taking on a variety of different jobs which all end badly. The first episode released in 2016 and the series has 2 seasons and 12 episodes fully released on Fullscreen as of April 2017. In 2015, the show was nominated at the Streamy Awards for Best International Series. Dean Dobbs was also nominated for Best Actor in 2016, with Jack Howard and Matt Holt nominated for Best Direction.

It has been confirmed by Jack that there will not be a third season of JADOAT. However, Jack and Dean were able to reclaim the rights to release the two seasons of the show on their YouTube channel, broadcast through December 2018. This run will end with the premiere of an exclusive final episode on Christmas Day, wrapping up the show without the need for a third season.
