George Hawkins is a YouTube vlogger. His videos focus on countering creationist claims, and advocating rationalism. He does however make videos about other topics at random that intrest him. Although his YouTube videos are his most commonly known work gphhawkins, he also posts material on his websites Gphhawkins' Rationalist Society as well as on other social media sites such as his Blogtv show Blogtv. He is half African American and half Caucasian , His voice has somewhat of an accent, but he has stated many times that the places that people claim his accent came from (Australia, Boston, etc) isn't where he's from at all. He will stumble over certain words or talk fast,but that is due to as he says "speech impediment". He is someone who knows enough about the bible to easy make creationist stumble over their own words. People enjoy the presence of George, many love his caring nature, but many people are blown away by his knowledge of the bible and many of the religions and religious concepts that people use to disprove and debunk certain claims of the existence of the God of the bible and Qur'an. He also can get annoyed with people but he never blocks user on his Youtube

His view on the afterlifeEdit

He has stated several times that the idea of Heaven, is nice and understandable to believe in. Still it is arrogant and egotistical to believe that when you die, you don't really die. He views Hell as a disgusting and distorted view and as you can tell isn't fond of the idea. But has stated that if Hell where to exist, he would gladly accept his punishment for living a kind and caring life without the need for a god. Some examples are here [1],[2],[3

What he believes the purpose of life isEdit

He states he believes that it is our own purpose to live life and not to be tied down by religious means. He has stated that life is what you make of it and that you should live your own life. Ovbiously, this is just HIS opinion, not the TRUTH.
