Andrew Hales (born: May 20, 1990 (1990-05-20) [age 33])[1], known through his channel LAHWF, is an American YouTuber. His channel started as a prank channel. In 2019, he began releasing casual interviews with entertainers and people with interesting hobbies and careers. As of 2021, he releases vlogs about his life and random topics.

YouTube career[]

Andrew's videos consist of awkward social experiments and pranks with the public. Many of his videos are filmed at Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University. His videos have been featured on TV shows including Good Morning America, The Doctors, and numerous news stations across the country. His two most popular videos are titled "Holding People's Hand" and "Awkward Elevator" which both went viral. Andrew currently lives in Provo, UT, where he goes to school at Utah Valley University. Andrew releases new videos on his channel every Monday. In 2017, Hales moved away from doing pranks and started an inteview series titled "Chatting With." In 2021, he started uploading regular vlogs about his life.

Channel name[]

According to the official blog of the YouTube Channel, lahwf.com, LAHWF is an acronym for Losing All Hope Was Freedom, which is quoted from the film, Fight Club.
