MachinimatingGamer17 (Jon Brent AKA MG17) is a fairly known Youtube user and specializes in Montages and Video Game Walkthroughs. He is most famous for his walkthrough of a Nintendo Wii game named, "The Conduit". His name originates from the progressive form of the word Machinima, which is Machinimating. This was the first Left 4 Dead video, he created. It was his first video to reach 1000 views and was praised for its comedy and showcase of drama and urgency. It was Jon`s most viewed video until it was overtaken by The RvB Reconstruction Alternate Ending. It follows Francis and his crew get annihilated by the Infected.

Red vs Blue Reconstruction Alternate Ending

RvB:R Alternate Ending is Jon`s most viewed video and has been praised for its comedy but, has been under speculation of fabrication by users of YouTube, notably Darthnazgul.

The Conduit Walkthrough

The Conduit Walkthrough was MG17`s first full scale walkthrough of a game. It is a 28 part playlist and helped Jon gain more than 40 subscribers and get him as low as 35 on the Most Viewed page in Canadian Directors. It was well received and all 28 episodes gained more than 1000 views. It was a surprise to many users that he beat out [barolb], another Canadian director to beat the game and upload the walkthrough and post the ending. It even shocked Jon, himself because by the time he uploaded the first level of the Conduit, barolb was already on Level Seven. He belives that this was the Most Important set of videos to be uploaded so he can be seen on YouTube.

Future

Jon has announced he will bring commentary to his walkthroughs beginning with the Prototype Walkthrough followed by a Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood Walkthrough, then a Wolfenstein remake walktrough. Later, in September he will play Halo 3: ODST.

Trivia

Jon was called a fag by SoupMan2312, along with other users on Zero9teen`s comment box. He referred to him by calling him "Brent". His favorite game of all time is Half Life 2: Episode 2 and his favorite series is the Halo Series.
