The Annoying Orange (real name Orange) is the lead protagonist in the Annoying Orange series, an ongoing Youtube series created by Daneboe .
His voice is provided by Daneboe.
In 2012, Orange also got a TV show on Cartoon Network.
Biography and Personality
Orange is described as being annoying, rude, and enjoys telling stupid jokes to everyone he meets, often making them mad. He is known for driving people crazy by annoying them by joking about them. Orange keeps on telling jokes until the other characters goes stark-raving mad.
He is described by his friends as being a moron, idiotic, and irritating.
After telling jokes and doing tricks, the bald orange often laughs his trademark laughter (which is usually an obnoxious cackle, like "Nya ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"). Most of his friends are very sarcastic, as shown in the episodes. However, Orange is also a little sassy-mouthed himself sometimes.
He also tries to warn his friends when Daneboe comes at them with a knife, which is often. However, Orange usually waits a while making shocked faces before he tells the other character(s).
Orange has human eyes, no nose, and a human mouth (just like all of the other characters) with yellow teeth.
The Annoying Orange's famous catchphrases are "Hey, Apple!", "Knife!", "I'm not [action/thing]! I'm an orange!", "Uh-uh!", "I'm bored!", "Whoa!", and "Ooh! Sparkly!".
He also seems to be completely unaware of the hostile feelings people show towards him.
Trivia
According to the show, Orange is 1 year old, although he, nor any other character, ever seem to age.
In some episodes, whenever a character is looking for something or even mentions it, Orange suddenly has it (much to the shock of the other character).
In the special where an overweight man called YouTube visited Daneboe and the Annoying Orange, Orange was shown as a supporting but minor character (same with Daneboe).

Orange was also an antagonist in Annoying Orange: The Onion Ring, in which he turned everyone into onion rings. He then said, "Pitbull!", and a big black pitbull came by and started eating them. That was the very first time Orange had a semi-villainous role.
In the Shane Dawson TV episode, TALKING FRUIT FROM HELL!!!, the Annoying Orange looked completely different and was voiced by Shane himself. When Shane kept hitting him with a knife (which tickled him), he said, "Why won't you die?!", to which Orange replied, with an evil, dramatic voice, "I'll never die!", and then laughed again.
In one of Daneboe's videos in 2010, Orange got thrown at a man's groin. Orange fell to the ground and exclaimed, "Whoa! That was 'nuts'!".
In a Fred episode called Fred Goes Grocery Shopping feat. Annoying Orange', Orange made a cameo appearance where he annoyed Fred Figglehorn by continuously saying, "Knock knock!", until Fred broke down crying. Then, he finally told Fred, "'Orange' you glad I didn't say, 'Knock knock' again?", and they both started to laugh at the joke.
In Annoying Orange vs. FRED!!!, Liam the Leprechaun came back to seek revenge on Orange with a secret weapon. He then put Orange, Pear, and himself in a wrestling match. Orange (whose nicknames revealed by Liam were the "Caesar of Citrus" and the "Prince of Puns")'s opponent was Fred (whose nicknames revealed by Liam were the "Sultan of Shrieking" and the "Overlord of Obnoxious"). They then started an annoying contest to see who could annoy each other. Then, they both started screaming so loud that their Annoying Meters started smoking and catching on fire. Then, the whole building got destroyed, and the ceiling fell on Liam, killing him once again. Orange and Pear were then sent back to the regular counter top. However, Fred also returned and started screaming again.
The Annoying Orange always gets spoofed by users, resulting to another oranges, and a video will result to dislike it more than liking it. Of course, spoofers dont have quality shape of the orange, skin, smoothing between mouth and eyes. Example videos is this.
