Real Annoying Orange is the official YouTube channel of Orange, the main character from the The Annoying Orange series. The account was created by Daneboe on Monday, January 11, 2010.

The account was created on Monday, January 11, 2010 by Daneboe. The account couldn't have been named "The Annoying Orange," due to the fact that some other YouTuber created the account already. In response to the making of that account, Daneboe named the official Annoying Orange account, the "Real" Annoying Orange. Very shortly after the account was created, it became a YouTube Partner with banner and all. For the account Daneboe favorited all of The Annoying Orange series under the account and created the playlist Fan videos! on Wednesday, January 13, 2010. The day after on Friday, January 15, 2010, Daneboe uploaded the first video to the account entitled "Hey YOUTUBE!!!." The channel opened successfully with three honors: #14 - Most Subscribed (This Week) - Comedians, #1 - Most Subscribed (This Week) - Partners, and #24 - Most Subscribed (This Month) - Partners. On that Friday, Daneboe also favorited the fifth episode, Annoying Orange 5: More Annoying Orange on the account when it was released later that day. Also, on that Friday, Daneboe added annotations to all of The Annoying Orange videos stating, "Annoying Orange has his own YouTube page! Click here to go there and subscribe!!!" and at the end of videos stating, "Click here for the Annoying Orange YouTube page!". The next week on Friday, January 22, 2010, Daneboe uploaded the video Annoying Orange Wazzup to the account. The video parodies the classic Budweiser commercials.

Channel design

Almost immediately after the channel was opened, Daneboe added all the design to the channel including it's banner and background. Also upon the channels release, Daneboe gave the channel a "Sunlight" (orange-toned) theme to fit the theme. On Friday, January 15, 2010, Daneboe erased the "Subscribers" section off the page. Daneboe also added a "Other channels" section only available to YouTube Partners. This started out with links to Daneboe's Dane Boedi and Gagfilms accounts. Daneboe later added the accounts, Luke Boedi, Wicked Awesome Films, Bobjenz, and Kevin Brueck. To the list, Daneboe later added The Count.

Real Annoying Orange banner 1 — The first and so far only page banner for the channel. The banner features Orange on it cropped from the still used for the first *The Annoying Orange* video. A speech bubble pointing to Orange's head reads "HEY!!! HEY YOUTUBE!!!". To the right of Orange, text reads "OFFICIAL YOUTUBE CHANNEL" with "THE ANNOYING ORANGE" under it. Below that, the icons for Facebook, Twitter, and the yellow "Subscribe" box are seen. The banner with the channels background makes it look as if burst of light are coming out from behind Orange.

In the middle of the banner it features text saying "THE ANNOYING ORANGE". To the left of that the banner features an arrow pointing down labeled with "Subscribe!" above it.
