Rich Alvarez is the YouTube channel for RMA Productions, an amateur film group created by Richard Michael Alvarez. The channel is known for its Nintendo-based videos, most notably the "Stupid Mario Bros." series. While they are primarily known for their comedy, which includes YouTube News, Interactive Adventures, and Mario parody videos that have appeared on the Machinima channel, they have also created a sci-fi thriller called "The Clicking Noise". Rich Alvarez has stated in the future that he would be interested in creating more serious films in the future. As of April 2015, the channel has over 120,000 subscribers and 78 million total views.

In February 2015, a second channel, called Rich Vlog was created. It currently has over 1700 subscribers and 11,000 total views. But on July 28, 2015 RichAlvarez decided to move the Rich Vlog on to the RichAlvarez channel, thus making the Rich Vlog an inactive channel.

Stupid Mario Bros.[]

Stupid Mario Bros. is a Super Mario Bros. parody series, and by far the most popular series on the RichAlvarez channel. It encompasses the adventures of Mario and Luigi (albeit without mustaches, as the original series was going to be called "Super Teenage Mario Bros."), beginning with them simply trying to avoid returning to the Mushroom Kingdom to a large fight with both characters from other video games (primarily from the Mario, Legend of Zelda, Metal Gear, Street Fighter, and Earthbound series) and original characters created by the channel. The series began on December 29, 2007, and ended on June 5, 2012, running for a total of five seasons and a movie.

A spiritual sequel called That Stupid Video Game Show began on January 17, 2013, running until June 27, 2013.

The Plumber Knight Returns and Stupid Mario World[]

Another spiritual sequel, called The Plumber Knight Returns, began on April 17, 2014. It is a more serious parody that is heavily based off The Dark Knight Returns. It came to an end on June 30, 2016 with a total of two seasons consisting of a total of 20 episodes.

November 20, 2015 Stupid Mario World, a direct sequel to SMB made it's debut to the world. It's second season ended with a feture-length film; Stupid Mario Brothers: Legacy released December 9, 2017. In order to get the rest of the story told on video donate to his patreon.
