It encompasses the adventures of Mario and Luigi (albeit without mustaches, as the original series was going to be called "Super Teenage Mario Bros."), beginning with them simply trying to avoid returning to the Mushroom Kingdom to a large fight with both characters from other video games (primarily from the Mario, Legend of Zelda, Metal Gear, Street Fighter, and Earthbound series) and original characters created by the channel. The series began on December 29, 2007, and ended on June 5, 2012, running for a total of five seasons and a movie.
A spiritual sequel called That Stupid Video Game Show began on January 17, 2013, running until June 27, 2013.
