Carl Benjamin, better known online as Sargon of Akkad, is an English YouTuber dedicated to explaining anti-feminism, centrism, and criticism of social justice. He is known for his brash and controversial style, being popular among the "intellectual dark web". He has hosted conversations and debates with other YouTubers on a wide variety of topics from politics to religion, history, and skepticism.

Channel History[]

In 2017, he was permanently banned from Twitter for harassment after sending videos of interracial gay porn to white nationalists. He used multiple alt accounts before being unbanned in 2022. In 2018, he was banned from Patreon after calling white nationalists "white n******" in a debate.

In 2020, he retired the Sargon of Akkad channel, and began broadcasting for The Lotus Eaters.

Campaign to be MEP[]

Carl Benjamin registered to be elected a member of the European Parliament in Southwest England in 2019 under UKIP. His campaign promises included never apologizing, many debates from that campaign are available on his channel. His announcement video is linked here. During the campaign, a tweet mocking politician Jess Phillips' complaint about rape threats resurfaced, and he was repeatedly pressed about it by British journalists. He lost the campaign to run for the European Parliament, but he was not upset and expected to lose anyway at just winning 3%. Due to the UKIP also losing many seats in that election, many people blame Carl for the party losing.
