Smosh Games is a gaming channel created by the creators of Smosh, Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla. Since Smosh's acquisition by Mythical, the Smosh Games cast members have fluctuated to being about the same as the Smosh Pit channel, since there are no divisions between the full Smosh Family anymore. During 2019 and early 2020, Courtney Miller and Shayne Topp began to make more appearances along with Ian, Sarah Whittle and Matt Raub. Lasercorn, Mari and Damien were the only regulars from the 2018 Smosh Games cast. Wes and Jovenshire made occasional appearances in 2019 on the channel. Following both Lasercorn and Mari's permanent departures, all of the Smosh Family began making appearances, although the ones with more appearances on the Games channel included temporary members Ify Nwadiwe and Saige Ryan.

Former members of Smosh Games include Lasercorn & Sohinki, who both left Smosh Games on August 5, 2017 but have both made occasional appearances since then, Flitz, on January 4, 2018, Boze, on January 12, 2019 and Mari, in February of 2020. In June of 2023, Anthony returned after his six-year absence, leaving him and Ian as the only original members of the channel.

About[]

Jovenshire, Lasercorn, and Sohinki all worked together at ClevverGames, and then were invited over by Smosh and Mari to create a gaming channel in 2012. Wes and Flitz would join in 2014 with Ericka Bozeman and Damien Haas added to the group in early and mid 2017. With Anthony leaving Smosh all together in mid 2017, he was no longer apart of the cast, along with Lasercorn and Sohinki later that year, and Flitz in the beginning of 2018. The five of them, along with the Smosh Squad and Ian on occasion did videos commentating, playing, sharing their opinions of various video games, doing game reviews, and sharing gaming news.

Following the acquisition by Mythical Entertainment (and continuing after Ian and Anthony bought Smosh), the expanded Smosh Family plays tabletop/board games more often than video games. This has included going into new territory such as their D&D series "Sword AF", a spin-off of their long-running Board AF series.

Members[]

Smosh Games had 6 total members in it's beginning which was Anthony, Ian, Mari, Joven, Sohinki, Lasercorn. Flitz and Wes would join shortly afterwards. Ericka Bozeman and Damien Haas then came along, being the newest members now. Since it's inception, Anthony and Ian had appeared rarely despite appearing often at the start. Anthony in June 2017 left Smosh, meaning he would no longer appear in their videos, although Ian would but as previously stated, rarely, before 2019. Some of their series' have also ended when new ones replaced them, but some stuck around. Every once in a while, they had one to several guest stars which included the cast of the main Smosh YouTube channel. On August 5, 2017, it was announced that Sohinki and Lasercorn will be leaving Smosh Games, but will appear on the channel on occasion. On August 6, 2017, it was announced that they would be creating a new gaming channel called ToasterGhost. On January 4, Flitz left Smosh Games due to not wanting to "risk having a negative impact" and wanting to deal with accusations of sexual assualt by several women on social media legally.

The regular cast members on Smosh Games have changed since Mythical has picked up Smosh. This has seen the 'Smosh Squad' members like Shayne and Courtney appearing in more videos due to the change in contracts. Throughout 2019, Sarah Whittle and Matthew Raubert, who formally worked behind the camera, were regulars in the 'new cast'. Ian, Damien, Mari and Lasercorn also appeared in most Smosh Games videos during this time. The content and schedule has since changed in 2019. With more Guests appearing in videos and different punishments, the content is very different from the 'shows' Smosh Games produced under Defy management.

As Mari, Lasercorn, Jovenshire, and Wes had officially all left Smosh by 2020, the channel served to introduce new members of the extended Smosh Family, including Ify Nwadiwe and Saige Ryan. Otherwise, the channel evolved to be the same cast/crew members as the main channel and Smosh Pit apart from this. Saige and Ify soon began appearing in other videos, showing that there was no longer a divide between the two groups (Smosh Games and Smosh Squad), although both left the channels in 2022. Ultimately, Sarah moved and left Smosh in April 2021, Matt Raub left Smosh in July of 2022, Kimmy Jimenez, who had appeared prominently on videos since 2019, was promoted to a behind-the-scenes role on Smosh, Anthony Padilla rejoined Smosh in June of 2023, and Jacklyn Uweh, who had not appeared too much on the Smosh Games channel, left in August 2023. The current members are thus now the same as the Smosh Family, consisting of Ian, Anthony, Courtney, Shayne, Spencer Agnew (who serves as Director of Programming and head of the channel), Damien (who works in a producer role), Tommy Bowe (initially one of Smosh's social media managers), and the remaining Smosh members Noah Grossman, Keith Leak Jr., Olivia Sui (whose appearances on Smosh Games are rare), Amanda Lehan-Canto, Angela Giarratana, Arasha Lalani, and Chanse McCrary. The latter four were added to the main cast of Smosh in 2022.
