Callum May (born on November 26, 1995 | The Canipa Effect) is a YouTube anime reviewer, who does anime reviews, animation spotlights, his own version of "Did You Know Anime" called "Did You Know Animo" and many other anime related video types. He was a member of the podcast Anime Galaxy until it went defunked. After that, he became one of the three creators of the podcast Anifix, along with his friends GLENLOVESANIME, also known as GLENLOVESSUBWAY, AnimeRuss, and RCAnime. Callum currently works as a journalist for Crunchyroll and Anime News Network.
Most know him for his obsession of penguins in anime and his animator spotlight videos.
He currently lives in Tokyo, with his wife.
