"Show Me the Way,", a song from the Sims 2, plays through the video until the last few seconds.
The Story of Cin and En
Cin never wanted to rush into love.
(Cin, a white Twi'lek, is seen standing in a "bar.")
She rejected those who moved in too quickly.
(Cin rejects an affectionate touch by a Sim in blue, Ambu Farmer, in the bar.)
En was quite the opposite.
(En, who looks like Boba Fett, compliments a white-skinned woman in the image of Asajj Ventress, Person Cin, as Cin sits in the background in the bar.)
He went through many brief romances.
(En hugs the white-skinned Sim as Cin and a blue Twi'lek, Kebiin Fett, sit in the background in the bar.)
These escapades were only moments of temporary bliss.
(En passionately kisses Kebiin seen in the last shot in the bar.)
He did not care about their fates.
(A purple-haired woman jumps into En's arms as Cin watches from a seat in the background in the bar.)
Observers saw him as a restless heart that never could be satisfied.
(En kisses a purple Twi'lek, Seviin Fett, up her arm in the bar.)
Then he noticed Cin.
(Shot moving towards En standing up in the bar)
(Shot moving towards Cin standing up in the bar)
Cin was suspicious but she did not reject him.
(En talks to Cin in the bar.)
She knew he would soon pass her by for another.
(En touches Cin's face in the bar.)
(En and Cin rock back and forth as they hold hands in the bar.)
Then their relationship endured beyond his others.
(En gently kisses Cin on a balcony at night.)
She began to realize that he treated her genuinely.
(Cin and En sit happily on a park bench at night holding hands.)
They loved each other in harmony, action and response.
(En and Cin kiss on the park bench at night.)
Cin was the only one En could ever truly love.
(En is seen standing in the desert alone by a saguaro in the day time.)
She could have chosen from one of many.
(Cin sits on a sofa inside, reading a book, at daytime.)
She understood him.
(En and Cin kiss gently in the desert in the daytime.)
It was hard for him to break his old habits, though.
(En kisses a red-haired woman, Circe Beaker, framed by an arch looking inside.)
(En and Circe hold hands affectionately sitting on top of a bed.)
It was a tragic addiction.
(En passionatley kisses a woman wearing a hat, Kar'taylir Farmer.)
Despite his deep love for Cin, he could not resist temptation.
(En kisses a red-headed alien woman, Chloe Singles, up her arm on a sandstone deck in the daytime.)
She became his temptation as well.
(En and Cin talk, sitting on a bed.)
The move put them both in check.
(En talks as Cin and him play chess, moving his queen foward.)
[No title]
(The pregnant Cin is shown rubbing her stomach outside during the night.)
She was his antidote.
(En and Cin hug indoors.)
(En rubs Cin's enlarged belly.)
He resolved to be a better person and to stay with Cin as long as they lived.
(En talks to Cin with a speech bubble containing the Sim pacifier symbol as they play pinball at night.)
A true tragedy befell her, and even more so, him.
(A house is seen from the outside, day fading to night.)
[No tile]
(Cin looks through a telescope at night and is then abducted by aliens.)
The heavens did not return.
(A telescope is shown at night.)
His soul fragmented without her.
(En is shown standing outside in the desert, his helmet fading off.)
His mind wandered, night truly fallen.
(En stands in the desert, fading to several different position and then to him running at night.)
He ran stairwells of the mind, thinking of what he lost but could never be again.
(En runs up two stairwells, shot from above.)
His lackluster life was but a shadow of what it might have been.
(En runs up a staircase at night outside.)
He longed for the heavens to bring him peace.
(En sits on the ground, looking around as he stargazes.)
Why couldn't they take him in an act of mercy...
(A tractor beam lights up at a telescope.)
...away from a disturbed world and a broken existence?
(A tractor beam operates at a telescope.)
His sorrow tore him from the counscious world, his meaning lost.
(En cries outside in the night.)
He surcumed to absolute numbness, almost ceasing to exist.
(En sits outside in a reclined chair at night, him fading away.)
Only the starlight of her return can end his utter nothingness.
(The empty chair from the last shot is shown.)
The star wait.
(No image change.)
Filmed entirely in the wonderful neighborhood of Strangetown
(The camera moves foward over modern buildings in the desert at night, the image fading out to black.)
(The music fades out.)
Happy belated St. Valentine's Day, part Presidents' Day. (Scrolls up in yellow)
(An image of George Washington with an superimposed pink heart window is shown and fades out to black.)
Notes
Edit
The basic plot structure of the story originated while TogrutaJedi was making The Sims 2: Fett's Vette. The idea was that Cin was the only one En could ever truly love, and there was an unwanted pregnacy. Cin's disappearance came from her Sims 2 crashing each time a Sim had a baby, that is, Cin's life could not continue. This glitch is shown in her video Sims Glitch: Crash from Pregnancy.
