Michael Carter (born: November 13, 2008), Lexi Carter (born: July 24, 2006), Chase Carter (born: October 1, 2011), and Shawn Carter (born: November 17, 2015), better known online as TheSkylanderBoy AndGirl, are YouTubers who share a variety of Skylander toys, plays majority of the Skylander games, and creates multiple Music videos related to Skylanders.

This channel is about a family including Michael and his family playing, surprising, and interacting with each other, and does videos also Lexi, and little brother Chase. They also have another channel named FGTeeV, FUNnel Vision, and Doh Much Fun. Their dad is Sky Dad (Vincent), and their mom is Sky Mom (Samantha). Their cousin is Minecraft Ethan, their grandmother is The Not-So Skylander Grandma. They also have a little brother, Shawn (nicknamed Skybaby).
History[]
The channel was created on November 27, 2012 with their first upload being "Skylander Collection (Elemental Groups) Nov '12" which features at that time 4 year old Michael Carter showcasing his collection of Skylanders from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventures and Skylanders: Giants with his dad, Vincent recording him. After their first upload, they started to upload multiple videos with some being Skylanders: Giants gameplay/walkthrough, Skylanders hacks, Skylanders news, unboxing videos etc. With them uploading multiple videos after their first video, they are starting to get an average 100K views per video.
On March 26, 2013, they started making their own shorts series known as "Skylander Shorts", a popular shorts series made by them which resolves around Skylanders and their family. This series was very popular that few years after the first episode, with most of the episodes gaining over 1 million views.
After a few shorts episode, they started a new series on their channel known as "The Epic Unboxing". A series of Skylander unboxing with them drilling holes into an unopened Skylander package, crushing the box to unbox the Skylander out of it and other shenanigans. This series was then well-known by most of the Skylander community back then, same with their shorts series, the series gained over 1 million views few years later.
They would then decide to make music videos and uploaded their first one titled "Lightcore Whamshell with Disco LightCore Technology (Series 2)" on June 13, 2013. The music video would then be a success which leaded to them making more of them with most of them gaining over 1 million subscribers few years later.
Due to their channel being one of the top Skylander content creators at that time, Activision decided to give them the Skylanders: Swap Force toys earlier to them and gave Vincent the permission to upload it on YouTube. He would then upload his kids react to it when they unbox it, this then blew up in the community at that time. Views on his videos related to reviewing the toys had ups and downs at that time until when he uploaded the video titled "SwapForce Adventure Packs / Playsets / Toys & more (Hands-On E3 Footage) (Skylanders)" which has gained him over 500K views.
As the Skylanders franchise getting more and more popular, TheSkylanderBoy AndGirl started gaining an average 100K views to 1 million views per video. Due to the channel rising in popularity back in 2013, Vincent decided to make another gaming channel based on other video games rather than only uploading Skylander content only. He would then also make a vlog channel known as Funnel Vision, however the original account for Funnel Vision went on a hiatus due to YouTube disabling their comments back in early 2018 which would lead them to create a new account for Funnel Vision and had taken down all their videos on the old one and reuploaded them to the new one.
Hiatus[]
Due to Activision no longer producing Skylander console games after Skylanders: Imaginators, they decided to stop uploading. Although Skylanders was a huge success since 2012, the Skylanders mobile games produced by Activision weren't popular as the console Skylander games. This would then made them upload their last video to the channel on December 29, 2017, titled "Skylanders Imaginators Music Video 🎶 YES YOU CAN MAKE THAT! Skylander Boy and Girl Song" which is a music video made as a goodbye video for the channel. The music video was supposed to be planned to be uploaded on 2016 but was halted for unknown reasons.
2 years after on not uploading videos onto the SkylanderBoy AndGirl channel, Vincent found out that he forgot to complete the Lost Imaginite Mines, a side quest which was included in the Lost Imaginite Mines Level Pack in local game and toy stores. Vincent would then upload the walkthrough/gameplay onto YouTube on March 16, 2019, however not all the members were present same with the main members Michael and Lexi as they were focusing on school so only Chase and Shawn were in the video. Unexpectedly, the video had gained over 3 million views as of January 7, 2022. After another 2 year long hiatus, they uploaded a YouTube shorts on September 2, 2021 which is titled "We made shorts before shorts were shorts!", a reference to them made their own shorts series before YouTube shorts was released to public, and the video currently gained 300K views. In July 2023 almost all videos were privated for an unknown reason leaving only 8 videos
