Top10Archive was one of the first "Top 10" channels on YouTube, launching on Sep 27th, 2012, although the current oldest video on the channel is "Top 10: Football Running Backs of All Time (Career Rushing Yards)" which was posted on Oct 27th, 2012. From October of 2012 until March 7th, 2014, Alex Bennett ran Top10Archive by himself, doing the research, writing and video editing. On March 7th, 2014, Alex hired professional voice actor Jim Denison to start narrating videos on the channel. At this time, the channel had roughly 1,000 subscribers and around 30 videos. Alex was now writing scripts and video editing, until November of 2014 when Mark LoProto was hired on as lead writer.

In April 2015, one year after Jim Denison starting narrating, Top10Archive crossed their 100,000 subscriber milestone, at which time the team hired 3 professional video editors to take over the editing department.

On November 1st, 2015, Top10Archive hit 300,000 subscribers and over 45 million views, respectively. As of November of 2015, Top10Archive currently employs 8 people; Alex Bennett, Voice actor Jim Denison, Lead writer Mark LoProto, additional writers Aaron and Toni, and video editors Luke, Mike and Christy.

In January of 2016, the team hired two additional members, Kelly, an actress, and Robert, another video editor, bringing the team to 10 members total. In January of 2016, the team passed 475,000 Subscribers and 85 million views.
