Typhoon Cinema was terminated on June 8th, 2016. The previous day, June 7th, 2016, a YouTuber named "The Animator Rebooted" copyrighted three of Typhoon Cinema's videos. After posting about it on Reddit, many FNAF SFM Creators decided to begin taking action. The last claim that led to Typhoon Cinema's first termination was from a YouTuber named "Nikson." Later that day, The Animator Rebooted retracted his claims due to legal threats. Shortly following Typhoon Cinema's restoration, a YouTuber named "ZombieWarsSMT" filed eight copyright claims against Typhoon Cinema, shutting down their channel for the second time that day.
