Max Landis (born August 3, 1985 (1985-08-03) [age 38]) known on YouTube as Uptomyknees, is an American screenwriter and director. He is best known for writing the 2012 film Chronicle and a variety of short films.

On his YouTube channel he is most known for his vides: The Slap, which had two people enter a room and slapped each other, Wrestling isnt Wrestling, which shows the life and career of popular professional wrestler Triple H and The Death and Return of Superman, which is a parody to the 1992 comic with the same name

Perosnal Life

Max was born into a Jewish family in Beverly Hills, California, the son of director John Landis and costume designer and historian Deborah Nadoolman Landis. He left Beverly Hills High School for a therapeutic boarding school in New England, but still graduated with a Beverly Hills High School diploma. Max is also an avid fan of professional wrestling. In 2012, he appeared on a podcast by Esther Povitsky alongside WWE wrestler Dolph Ziggler; during the podcast, Povitsky continually attempted to decry professional wrestling, causing a frustrated Landis to fervently defend it in a lengthy speech.
